This two bed basement floor flat was in desperate need of a full renovation on a minimal budget.  We needed to think outside the box to find solutions to fit a dining area into the existing kitchen/living room and generally create a better space throughout.

We decided to dismantle the existing kitchen island and added those units to the existing kitchen along a wall to utilise them better and create more space. We also created a new floor plan in order to maximise the space and inspire harmony. 

 

As it was a basement flat it had damp issues which needed to be resolved.  Damp-proofing underlay was added prior to the new flooring.

The flat was redecorated throughout, skimming and paint walls. We also added storage in term of floor to ceiling wardrobes in both bedrooms and a study area in the hall.
