We collect information when it is directly given to us (“Directly Provided Data”). For a transaction to take place we require your information which you may send to us via email, telephone or provide in person. Sometimes we receive information indirectly through estate agents or developers who are also directly involved in the sale of your property.

 

WHY DO WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION AND HOW WILL IT BE USED?

We collect your personal information for our legitimate business interests. For example, collecting your information means that we can understand your needs and provide you with our service.

Our legitimate business interests include the following:

• For evidential purposes to manage and maintain records of client/prospect relationships/communications

• To contact our clients/prospects by telephone or email to arrange meetings in relation to our work

• To enhance, modify, personalise or otherwise improve our services and communications for the benefit of our clients/prospects

• To better understand how people interact with our website and content in order to enhance the customer experience

• To determine the effectiveness of promotional campaigns to inform marketing strategy

• To enable people to apply for a job or contracting opportunity

• We may use the information you provide to contact you, for example if you submit an enquiry using our contact form.

 

HOW IS YOUR INFORMATION STORED ONLINE?

Style and stage uses a number of third-party systems to store and process the personal data we hold. These systems are password protected and GDPR compliant.

• Xero – our cloud-based accounts system

• Dropbox – cloud-based document sharing tool

• Online banking 

We do not sell your personal data or other information to any third-party.

 

HOW IS YOUR INFORMATION STORED OFFLINE?

We may take notes in meetings, once these projects have either completed or the service is not required, this information is deleted. 

 

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

Style and Stage is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

We will not retain your personal information longer than necessary. We will hold onto the information you provide for the duration of the transaction whilst we are providing a service to you. Once complete we will email to find out if you wish for us to continue holding your information. 

Any data stored electronically will be deleted in accordance with our GDPR policy. The exception is information collected from feedback, which is held only for the duration of its usefulness, for a marketing campaign for instance. This data is anonymised, unless we have obtained your permission to use your name, and retained for internal evidential purposes, or deleted.

 

IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND AND DON’T WANT US TO HOLD YOUR INFORMATION?

Please send us an email to confirm that you no longer wish for us to hold your information and we will delete it from our database. 

 

WHO WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH?

We will never share individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.

In accordance with the job, our contractors will receive necessary information via email. Once the job is completed they will delete this information.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

We may from time to time put links to other websites of interest on our own website. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that Style and Stage does not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites, and such sites are not governed by our privacy statement. HOW WE USE COOKIES
